An exhibition of fashion and lifestyle products was held from 26th to 27 th May at Aga Khan Hall, Bhagwan Das Lane near Mandi House Metro Station in New Delhi, organized by the Camella World.
Rashmi Mendiratta heads this organization. She is an event planner who has to her credit many well curated exhibitions. She is also working on other exhibitions which would take place in near future.
Displaying latest fashion and lifestyle products were big brands such as CTC (Chhabra trading co.), Indianafab, Meeraki, Resofab-inc, Fashion.in, Pallash, De-lemon, Karvi, Lakhnawi by Swet, in which Swet is focused on Lakhnawi chicken clothes. This organization works for social causes like women empowerment. They also give opportunity to unemployed and unskilled women to work and design their clothing line. One distinguishing quality of this brand is that it mainly works on white and light colored outfits.
CTC has unveiled a variety of designs in women’s dresses from casuals to occasionals to be worn during festivals and weddings. Price ranges from just rupees 500 to one lakh. According to their Manager, premium category products are hand made and a variety of fabrics in various hues are used to make one piece.
The jewelry section showcased silver jewelry ideal for those who can’t afford gold. Gold coated silver jewelry too was there. Budget friendly jewel items made of pearls that mainly focuses on young girls who want to wear accessories befitting their dresses were also there.
De-lemon a unit of Banaras Beads Limited had on display jewelry made of beads. Their products are in good demand worldwide.
At Karvi one could find a variety of ayurvedic products related to skin and hair. Such products included moisturizer, hair oil, lip balm, scented candle, eye liner, soaps etc.
